Hello to all of you loyal subscribers! Yesterday was World Art Day, so in that spirit, we wanted to send out an update on the exciting summer season we have ahead of us! The John Philip Falter Museum will kickoff another season by celebrating our eighth anniversary on May 1st and we are so grateful for all of your support. Thank you to the community of Falls City and all of the donors, fans, and organizations we’ve partnered with for helping us keep Falter's art alive and accessible. We appreciate all of you!
We are excited to share the news that from June 1st to September 1st, we will be part of the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation's "Wander Nebraska" program. This exciting tourism program focuses on the many cultural museums throughout the state, including five in Falls City:
The Richardson County Historical Society's Museum, 1400 Chase Street.
The Stalder Gallery, located inside the Falls City Library and Arts Center, 1400 Stone Street.
The Collection Museum & Underground Railroad Historical Site, 1601 Chase Street.
Heartland Fine Arts, 1620 Stone Street.
The John Philip Falter Museum, 1622 Stone Street.

All of our summer schedules will soon be listed on our website and on our Facebook page, but our open hours beginning June 1 are: 1:00-4:00 Thursdays- Sundays. The month of May and all other days are by appointment only by calling Dobey at 402-450-3724. Our wonderful group of docents are anxious to greet you and tell you the interesting life story of our hometown and world-renowned illustrator, John Philip Falter.
