Hey Falter Fans -
We’ve got some sweet Valentine’s Day stats for you:
Nearly 1,500 visitors signed our guest book in 2019. That includes visitors from 31 states and 4 countries from outside the United States. Most of these visitors made a donation and many purchased a print, gift item or post card.
To share our successful year, we have donated $200 to the two high school art departments in town. Gayle Weinert at Falls City Public and Christina Wertenberger at Falls City Sacred Heart are doing a terrific job of inspiring young artists and keeping the future of art alive!
It’s the time of year to send our heartfelt thanks to our generous donors who kept our front door open in 2019:
Richardson County Farm Bureau, Marlen Luff, Doug & Betty Merz, Butch and Dobey Haws, Norm & Sharon Horn, Dr. Bob & Jo Neman, Gary & Glenda Nelson, Charlotte Nedrow, Scott & Joan Magdanz, Ken & Ann Littlefield, Ron & Nancy Kelley, Steve Steinbrink & Joan Hueffner, Rodger & Diann Merz.
And these wonderful local volunteers deserve our sweet thanks too: docents Glenda nelson, Brenda Garriott, Gail Froeschl, Liz Huettner, Doris Erickson, Pat O’Grady, Denise Kurpgeweit, Lee Kurpgeweit, Barb Kelly and Cindy Bangert spent many hours greeting and teaching visitors about John and the museum.
Our behind the scenes friends are valuable volunteers too: Jonah Santo, the Falls City Journal, Bob Aitken and Richard Halbert, Butch Haws, Library and Community Foundation of Richardson County and Nebraska History Museum, Grand Weaver Hotel, Falls City Chamber of Commerce/Mainstreet, Falls City Police Department, Jim Murphy, Jones Air Condition, Inc. Richardson County Visitors Bureau, Falls City Area Artists’ Association, EDGE, Southeast Nebraska Communications, and the City of Falls City.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of our very sweet Falter Fans!
