The museum was selected as part of the Nebraska Passport. The program recently completed on September 30, 2016. We want to thank the Nebraska Tourism Commission for allowing us to be a part of this great program.
The museum was featured in a number of media over the course of the program. We used numerous platforms to get out word of our location. We thought you might enjoy seeing all of those here:
Art Walk
An art walk was held Thursday, September 29th in downtown Falls City. The walk was sponsored by Stone Street Arts: Christina's Art Gallery, the Stalder Gallery and the Falter Museum. The weather couldn't have been more perfect as it was a beautiful evening to stroll, shop and socialize downtown. Lively music provided outside the museum by the very talented Sandy Creek Bluegrass Band from Lincoln while Josh, Samantha and Elizabeth Maxwell performed music at Christina's Art Gallery. Donations were taken for the downtown Christmas decorations. Many thanks to the Richardson County Visitors Committee for its generous support, the Falls City Chamber of Commerce and the city of Falls City for their cooperation and support to everyone who attended and joined in on the fun! Another Holiday Art Walk is being planned for later this fall. (text courtesy of The Falls City Journal).
Thanks for all of your support,
Dobey Falter Haws, curator
